Andrew Wommack Ministries Inc is Hiring an Admissions Counselor Near Woodland, CO

Position Purpose:

The Admissions Counselor encourages and successfully guides applicants through the Charis Bible College enrollment process, from completed application to arrival on campus. This role has administrative and ministerial opportunities to interact, inspire, and support prospective and enrolled students in their journey to Charis. To ensure a victorious and positive transition to the college for admitted students, the Admissions Counselor will utilize effective follow-up regarding admissions requirements, provisioning of resources, liaising with other departments on their behalf, and keeping them engaged in the Charis community. This position requires a significant amount of phone and email correspondence for the most powerful one-on-one enrollment assistance and encouragement, passionately introducing students to a unique, collegiate experience that can impactfully change their lives and launch them further into the purposes of God.

Essential Duties:

  • Maintain a complete understanding of all areas of Charis Bible College and be able to articulate it effectively.
  • Assist and provide relevant information for admissions to current and prospective students.
  • Connect via outbound calls to prospective students who have applied to Charis Bible College.
  • Collaboratively work with compliance specialists, the Registrar team, and the Office of the Bursar in the admittance process.
  • Thoroughly review all new applications, as well as attentively follow the admission process for accepted students.
  • Receive and process initial payments through the payment portal, as well as maintain accurate transaction records on behalf of the Charis Accounting department.
  • Conduct tours of the Charis Bible College campus with incoming students.
  • Represent Charis Bible College at the assigned booth for events and conferences.
  • Address prospective and incoming students with encouragement, the Word of God, and prayer.
  • Work effectively and positively with other teams to provide an excellent student experience.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of a healthy, spiritual community with students, staff, and faculty.
  • Achieve enrollment goals for the department, and regularly report student enrollments to the Admissions Manager.
  • Update data systems with all engagements with applicants by maintaining status updates, notes, tasks, and required data entry.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

  • Professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude during all aspects of the job.
  • Conversational proficiency in speaking on the phone, leading one-on-one conversations, and using exceptional listening and problem-solving analysis with proper phone etiquette.
  • Comprehensively operate a computer and all the Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Adaptability to work a flexible schedule at times, as well as attend conferences and events that occur on campus throughout the year, which may occur during evenings and weekends.
  • Strong sense of calling to Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College.
  • Knowledgeable about the Word of God and passionate about Christian education.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Professionalism & diplomacy in communications with various cultures and diversities.

Requirements:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • Charis Bible College graduate is preferred.
  • Must pass all required checks.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of administrative experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of customer service or Phone Center experience is required.
  • Ministry experience is preferred.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
